A Mother and The Moon

A story for all children in this world to ponder...

One night a mother talked to the moon..
She said...
"I am a happy mother
I bore children
I fed them
I bathed them
I raised them with love
I opened my heart for them to enter
I gave my shoulder for their heads to lean on
I lent my ears to share their troubles
Gave whatever they liked
Said only the things they wanted to hear
Pleased them... made them happy all the time..."
Then the moon asked, " Why are you telling me all this?"
The mother replied," Because you are always there to listen to my heart...you never leave... I
wish my children are like you..."
The moon then said, " I wish I am your children..because if I were them I would have cried..for having such a loving mother..
but I am just a moon..."
